Lifeplan Vitamin C supplements contain 1000mg of Vitamin C, 1250% of the Nutrient Reference Value (the daily amount of a vitamin or mineral that the average healthy person should consume) plus Rosehip, Acerola, and Citrus Bioflavonoids, all of which will gradually release in the body over a 2-6 hour period.

Every day, pollution in the air exposes the body to environmental free radicals: emissions from cars, cigarette smoke and even UV rays from the sun. They can also be formed in the body when it breaks down food. These free radicals then put stress on other cells in the body, known as oxidative stress. 

Vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, as well as contributing to the normal function of the immune system. 

Despite the many benefits of Vitamin C, it is also highly unstable, meaning that it can be easily destroyed by temperature variations, light and cooking. This essential nutrient cannot be stored in the body, meaning we require a daily supply of Vitamin C.
